Seems silly we only celebrate father's on one day of the year considering all they do for their family. I consider myself especially blessed to have the best daddy for my little girl. I knew very early on in mine and Robert's relationship that he was going to be an exceptional dad. I can recall the day like it was yesterday. My niece Kaitlyn was very young and we were over at my sisters house to have dinner. My niece only wanted one person at her tea party and that person was Robert. So he sat down at the small child table in a tiny chair and drank tea and ate cookies. He didn't hesitate for one second. At that moment I knew that Robert was going to be a great daddy one day.
When Lilly was born Robert was the happiest I have ever seen him. He was a natural parent. Sure it was a learning experience in the beginning for both of us but now Lilly is at the age where they can have fun together. Let's just say Lilly brings out the "kid" in Robert. Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband and Happy Birthday too. We are so thankful for everything you do for us. We love you!
To my sweet daddy...you are a very strong, selfless, caring and dedicated man (and now a softy too after having grandchildren). I can always count on you to be there for me whenever I need you. You always go out of your way to help your children in any way you can. I admire you so much.You my not realize but growing up you taught me a lot of life lessons and I am so grateful. I carry them with me all the time. You made sure that your daughter got the best education, learn have to drive a standard car (even with a snake skin in the back of the Malibu...eek), and loved me unconditionally.
