6 Months (Easter and Sour Apples)

The sixth month was a month of a lot of firsts. Lilly sat up on her own, started talking more and had a taste of lots of fruits and vegetables. This has to be hands down the funniest video of Lilly so far. At six months we started feeding her solids and she had the best reaction to apples. She LOVES them but this batch was a little sour. Lilly loves to eat!

Lilly and I ran our first 5k together. She needed a diaper change around mile 2. This medal was made by a 11 year old.

Robert and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary. Love this man!

One of the hardest decisions Robert and I had to make was which school we were going to send Lilly to. Although it was hard for mommy and daddy, Lilly seemed to adapt well and made new friends.

Lilly celebrated her first Easter. She did really well throughout the service (as long as I was holding her). Here are some pictures of us outside the church.

Lilly was so over this Easter Bunny she wouldn't even look at him

Lillian's Baptism

Lilly's baptism was so special. Her Papa performed the baptism at Custer Road UMC. Everyone came to see her. Lilly's Gram made her Baptism gown. It is gorgeous!! I hope that one day Lilly's children will wear it. Robert and I are so happy that we found a church we love and want to raise Lilly in. We are truly blessed on this joyous occasion.

Lilly and her two T's. Great T came to see Lilly for the first time.

Four Months Already!

This month was very hard on mommy, I had to return to work. Pawpaw watched her during the day while Robert and I were at work. Lilly started to develop a personality interacting with me and Robert more and more each day. She also started to roll over on her side at night when she sleeps.
I dressed her a little early for Valentine's day but it was just so cute.
Sitting in her bumbo watching mommy clean the kitchen and make bottles.

Don't worry she didn't taste it but it appears so since we has her finger in her mouth. Robert has a similar picture when he was little but it was with a liquor bottle.

My third month was BUSY

Lilly had a busy third month. It was Christmas season so we were getting ready for fmaily to come to town. Lilly was going to meet her Great Gram and Papa for the first time. Her T also got engaged in December so it was extra exciting. Lilly also started to talk, exercising that voice. It was a wonderful Christmas season!

Daddy wasn't too happy about this picture. She is even shooked I put her in this outfit. I took this picture for Gram and Great Papa. They LOVED it!
We hosted Christmas at our house this year. It was a full house for sure. We had Gram and Papa, Memaw and PawPaw, Great Gram and Great Papa, T and Unc over for Christamas dinner. Oh and I can't forget to mention that Robert almost burned down our house. We had a grease fire in the back yard on his brand new grill he got from my parents. It was an exciting night at the Gurley house.:)

Visting Gram and Papa's

Lilly embarked on her first road trip to the grandparents house. She did great, sleeping most of the way to Gatesville. We enjoyed our trip and had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family.

Gene and Lilly decided to take a little nap.

This is very special picture for Gram. She took this same picture with her grandfather in this chair.

T and Unc on thier way to a OU game at Baylor. It wasn't a good game for Austin.
On our way home from we met my family for dinner at Daddy Jacks to celebrate Memaw and Auntie T's birthday.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say she wasn't ready to sit in the chair. She looks a little scared. This is her great grandfathers chair and will be used for photo's every month until she can't fit it anymore. :) Happy two months baby!

Lilly's First Month!

Lilly smiled for the first time on 10/16/2011. It was so sweet. She was always the happiest and most interactive when she was laying on her changing table.

Lilly got to meet her first celebrity, Alton Brown, at a book signing. Now that is one HAPPY daddy!

What else would Lilly be for halloween then a sweet Lilly flower! We went to Aunt Stacey's house to celebrate Kailtyn's and Pawpaw's birthdays.

Little Pumpkin!

I don't think any of them were looking at the camera. Lilly has an excuse but what about the rest of them. :)
